As a Software QA Test Engineer with over 8 years of experience in the software industry, I have a strong passion for delivering high-quality software solutions. I hold a Master of Engineering degree in Applied Electronics from Anna University, Chennai and I have earned multiple certifications in software testing, Azure fundamentals, and Selenium. In my most recent role as a senior test specialist at IBM, I worked on various projects across different domains, using agile and waterfall methodologies. I have collaborated with various stakeholders, POs, BAs, Developers of major Banking and Telecom clients to analyze business requirements and interpret test data. I have designed and executed functional and regression test cases for web application testing, using Selenium WebDriver with Java and TestNG based on POM design. I also integrated the test framework with Continuous Integration development cycle, using Maven with Jenkins build server. Additionally, I designed and executed test cases for Rest API testing using Postman and SOAPUI. I am proficient in using defect management tools such as JIRA, Quality Centre/Application Lifecycle Management, and SQL queries for back-end testing. I also have hands on experience in manual mainframe online testing of CICS screens and basic JCL batch job processing. Also, I have experience with dataset verifications using INSYNC utility and executed SQL statements for DB2 using the SPUFI under TSO ISPF in Mainframe z/OS environment for mainframe projects. I am highly motivated, result-focused, detail-oriented and customer-oriented, with outstanding communication and quick learning skills, as well as critical thinking and problem-solving skills. I have a keen interest in learning new technologies and tools that can enhance my testing capabilities and efficiency. My goal is to leverage my expertise and skills to contribute to the success and growth of the organization and the team.
