Goal: To excel in responsible managerial positions in academic, business, or defense disciplines/industries- Experience-Retired USAF Chief Master Sergeant following a diverse career including senior positions managing multi-million dollar military human resource programs. Promoted to Master Sergeant (E-7) through the Stripes for Exceptional Performers (STEP) Program in Dec 1982 at Lajes Field, Azores. Designated one of only two enlisted "Special Assistant to the Secretary of the Air Force" for approval of USAF Regular Officer Resignations. Senior Enlisted Advisor (now called a Command Chief Master Sergeant) to the Commander, 49th Wing, Incirlik AB, Turkey during active combat operations during Operation Northern Watch/Combined Operations Provide Comfort I & II. Senior ranking joint US military non-commissioned officer in Turkey during crucial combat operations through July 1994. Upon return to Randolph AFB, TX, in 1994, selected to be a Major Command (HQ AETC) Directorate of Personnel Branch Chief (a Lt Colonel position) to manage command-wide base level military Personnel operations and deployments for 13 installations. Selected to supervise the first-ever successful test of an integrated USAF Military & Civilian Personnel Branch- Managed Goodwill Industries of San Antonio Lackland Air Force Base, Kelly Air Force Base, and Medina Base Annex Grounds Maintenance Contract as Project Manager. Direct hired/supervised/released over 120 peak season employees, acquired/maintained $2M worth of grounds keeping equipment, managed a $200+K monthly payroll, and managed 8 square miles (with 77 linear miles of perimeter security fencing) of weekly grounds-keeping over 3 adjoined installations (including the former Kelly AFB active aerodrome). A $5M annual contract, it was the company's largest and most profitable contract during San Antonio's 2nd wettest year on record-Site Manager for Fisher House, Inc at Lackland Air Force Base, TX. A unique 501C3 non-profit, supervised all daily operations for 3 adjoined hospital hospitality houses collocated with Wilford Hall Medical Center. Restructured operations, economize resources, and built a professional, hygenic environment for military families/guests with service members being treated at Wilford Hall, all free of charge to them."Did more good in three months than the previous site manager had done in two years"
