As the President of Catchlight Consulting LLC, I tap into over 42 years’ experience in the financial services industry and can analyze what has, or may become, a problem in your Compliance/BSA programs. My background includes nearly 27 years as an Examiner with the FDIC, including both safety/soundness and compliance field work, with other progressively more responsible management experience; 11+ years in senior management roles with both small and large community banks; and more than 6 years consulting in the BSA area. My experience places me in a relatively unique group of individuals with extensive regulatory experience across the country – north, south, east and west - and over a decade of senior managerial experience in both small and large community banks. I know your regulator(s)’ expectations for effective compliance and BSA/AML programs and I know how to help you meet them. I am familiar with both sides of the table; I understand banks’ internal operating environments and I have also faced the crush of regulations every day. But from direct experience, I also know how regulators are trained and how they think. My background gives me an edge in knowing both the banking and regulatory worlds that some others may not have.
