I am an Internal Audit Professional with over 11 years of experience in the Microfinance/NGO sector, currently leading the Head Office Audit Team at BURO Bangladesh. My expertise includes compliance audits, internal control evaluation, process audits, regulatory oversight, and financial reporting. I work closely with divisional and zonal audit teams to ensure that organizational policies, donor requirements, and Microcredit Regulatory Authority (MRA) guidelines are consistently followed across all operations. In addition to my full-time role, I serve as a part-time Finance & Accounts Consultant at a private aviation company, where I advise on financial systems and regulatory compliance. I also work as a freelance Income Tax Return Preparer, and as an Accounting Instructor for O/A Level (Cambridge and Edexcel) students at CoachUp International Education. I hold dual Master’s degrees in Finance & Banking and Accounting & Information Systems, and am a part-qualified Cost & Management Accountant (CMA) from ICMAB. I am passionate about upholding accountability, transparency, and compliance through sound audit and financial practices.
