About Rashed Parvez

I am currently working as an Assistant Registrar (Coordination) at the Vice Chancellor Office in the Chittagong University of Engineering & Technology (CUET). Earlier, I served as the Assistant Director (Public Relations) and Public Relations Officer at the Information and Publication section. After completing my graduation and post graduation degree under Social Science faculty with a major in the Department of Communication and Journalism at University of Chittagong, Bangladesh; my focus has been increasingly centered on Communications, Public Relations and Publication besides I had over three years of working experience in print and online newspapers including the vernacular The Daily Azadi reporting in the fields of Environment, Agriculture, Public Health, Education, Rural Development, Culture, Women and Child Affairs. I am an outgoing person and an enthusiastic in Public Relations, Journalism, Communication & research based working. I am pond of Photography, Mobile Journalism (MoJo) and Travelling. I had involved in some academic research works with my teachers such as "Impact of various communication media use among students of a university in Bangladesh","The Popular TV Program : A Survey on Chittagong City", “Evaluating source-reporter relationship and its impact on news related outcome : A study on newspaper reporter”. I have also kept engaging myself with research works such as mass media & social media contents analyzing. I am engaged with some professional organisations like World Communicators Council (WCC) under Public Relations Council of India (PRCI), Chittagong Chapter, Bangladesh Public Relations Association (BPRA), Bangladesh Public Universities Public Relations Association (BPUJS), Chittagong University Alumni Association, Chittagong University Communication and Journalism Alumni Association etc. I was an active part of Bangladesh Human Rights Commission (BHRC), Bangladesh National Cadet Corps (BNCC) Air Wings, Leo Club Chittagong under the Lion Club International and still have working with a social voluntary organization named Sobuj Sangha in Rangunia Upazila and environmental voluntary organisation named Shobuj Andolon (Green Movement) at Chittagong.
