I began my career in medical assisting, but soon learned I preferred to handle medical records and claims. My initial position was at Xerox -Inovalon providing clerical/data entry services for EMR records. After moving to Los Angeles, I found a position with Conduent Business Services, where I currently handle medical record and financial recovery data for our health insurance clients. As a BPO, we work with our clients to recoup overpayments made to medical providers. Upon relocating back to El Paso, I was fortunate to retain this position as a remote employee.
