About Ray Gallon

The meeting place between Communication, Culture, and Technology - that's where I have lived, all my life. All my work with music, art, radio, Information 4.0, acoustic ecology, new technologies and technical communication, has been about that intersection. Our company, The Transformation Society, is all about that. We're a private company with a social objective: making a better world by helping to craft humanist digital transformation, build learning organizations, develop smart pedagogies, and facilitate lifelong learning in the AI era. As an example, I used to be the program manager of WNYC-FM, the largest public radio station in the U.S. It's the perfect job for a humanist nerd - you get to mess with the newest audio technology, you have your hands on the dashboard of a major cultural institution in the cultural capital of the country, and you interact with artists, musicians, bureaucrats, politicians, and a good sampling of the millions of people who listen to, and depend on your station for quality accompaniment to their lives.
