About Reece Springall

After graduating from Grimsby College with a Level 3 Electrical Engineering Extended Diploma, I pursued a career in engineering, working as a maintenance engineer at Havelok Ltd and an engineering apprentice at Five Star Fish. I gained valuable skills and experience in electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic systems, as well as continuous improvement and health and safety practices. In 2022, I decided to switch to a different sector and joined Positive Activities Developments (CIC) as a company secretary. Positive Activities is a social enterprise that offers community services and programs, such as sports, arts, education, and health. As a company secretary, I support the board of directors and the executive team with administrative, legal, and financial tasks, such as preparing and filing documents, maintaining records, and managing budgets. I also use my engineering skills and Microsoft Office proficiency to create and maintain databases, reports, and presentations. I enjoy working with a diverse and passionate team that aims to make a positive difference in the lives of people and communities. My goal is to continue learning and developing my skills and competencies as a company secretary and an engineer, and to contribute to the success and growth of Positive Activities.
