About Reed Waldick

Municipal Advisor | Governance & Administrative Management | Policy and Legislation Analysis | Stakeholder Relations Hello, I’m an enthusiastic Municipal Advisor with a fresh perspective on local government and a passion for making a real difference. Currently, I provide advisory services to municipal organizations, focusing on fiscal and administrative management to help them thrive and achieve their strategic goals. I’m skilled in building strong stakeholder relationships and providing provincial direction to ensure municipalities have the tools and resources they need to succeed. I also enjoy coordinating service delivery and delivering engaging training programs that empower local teams to excel. Before diving into municipal advisory work, I gained valuable experience with the Department of Canadian Heritage at the Government of Canada, where I contributed to developing legislation and analyzing policy impacts. Additionally, I worked in human resources at St. Joseph’s Healthcare, which gave me a solid understanding of organizational dynamics and employee relations. With degrees from McGill University and Carleton University, I’ve got a strong academic foundation to back up my practical experience. I’m excited about the opportunities ahead and eager to connect with others who share a commitment to innovative and effective local governance!
