About Remko Lodder

Hi, I am Remko, an experienced Coach. I have gained coaching experience since I was a technical fieldmanager at Snow (now Sue) and continued with extending my coaching experience at ING. I use the Solution Focussed coaching technique as my main technique to help my coachee’s to find their potential solution to what they want to achieve. Although I adopt to different technique’s when needed. At ING I also further developed my manager experience, at ING I am responsible for the HR process for our valued colleague’s. Consider things like: creating vacancies, publishing those vacancies and performing interviews; having contacts with internal and external recruiters; performing performance management talks with our colleague’s; part of ING’s GTDCN Management Team (MT); involved with many internal ‘bring us further’ projects; salary talks; long term people planning; educational guidance; any many more things. For me it is important that my colleague’s can develop themselves and I put myself into the position of helping them where I can and should. ‘If you invest in your people, you invest in the future for them and your company’ is something I strongly believe in. Since my work at ING I am also an experienced automation engineer using Ansible as my preferred tool to develop automation towards VMware alike products. I became experienced in VMWare products as well, learning from my team of highly experienced VMware engineers. In my past working life I had been a Network and Security expert, using products from Juniper, Cisco, Checkpoint and I earned my CISSP credential, as well as an expert administrator of Unix derived products (FreeBSD, Linux). The above experiences makes me an allround human focussed manager and engineer. I do not believe that we should limit people to a 9-5 job, so I lead by example and work where I can and should, combining my private and work life into the best possible balance.
