24 years of experience in food engineering and food industry, 3 years on family owned business in manufacturing, quality and product development areas and 21 years in a multinational big company in process development, manufacturing, engineering, technology and quality areas. 15 years experience in Regional quality area as a quality expert for ice cream. • Implementation of innovation projects (more than 20 projects implemented in SCC Category and over than 50 projects in Ice Cream Category). • Participation in SoMa Project (a big Project to transfer the Kibon factory from Sao Paulo to Valinhos and Recife). Dedicated 2 years for this project. Responsible for margarine lay-out definition and re-start of the production lines. • Solid knowledge on Quality Systems: HACCP, ISO, FSSC GMP, Advanced SPC, Microbiology, Food Safety, TPM and Quality Tools in general. • Responsibility for working together with the regional R&D, process, manufacturing and marketing teams to assure the evaluation, elimination, minimization or mitigation of all risks related of innovation, VIP, complexity reduction and process improvement projects. • Regional Quality Auditor, Lead Auditor for FSSC responsible for auditing suppliers, third parties, co-makers, co-packers and manufactures, including Unilever Plants. • Responsible for doing the Innovation and Food Safety Quality Risk Assessments for all projects and mitigation with action plan coordination. • Coordination of CCPMU reduction teams in each LatAm country. • Ensure the food safety and product quality standards at Unilever Ice Cream Plants system through the proper and on time implementation of global and regional quality programs, guidelines and policies. • Assure that third party operations and Unilever MCO´s meet all quality and food safety requirements. • Total implementation of Quality systems in the ice cream factories of Argentina (co-maker) and Chile (new Unilever operation). • Green Belt (6 sigma) and auditor leader FSSC (Food Safety System).
