Reuben Sciberras is a seasoned General Manager with over 20 years of experience in the marketing communications industry, human resources management, and generic management. He is currently the General Manager of Stargate Studios Malta, a leading visual effects company that provides services to the film and television industry worldwide. As the General Manager, he is responsible for all aspects of the company's operation, including strategic planning, business development, overall supervision, internal processes, daily operations, HR management and training, profitability and sales, marketing and advertising, reputation management, service quality and reporting. Together with the Stargate Team, he has successfully overseen multiple projects and contracts with clients such as Netflix, HBO, BBC, Sky, and Disney. He is also a member of the Malta Institute of Management, the Malta Chamber of Commerce, Enterprise & Industry, and the Chartered Institute of Public Relations (UK). Reuben Sciberras holds a M.Sc. in Public Relations from the University of Stirling, and has a strong background in media relations, corporate communications, and public affairs. He has worked as a journalist, news editor, PR and communications executive, and consultant for various media outlets, government agencies, and private organizations. He has also completed an Airport Management Training Programme from Cranfield University and a Certificate in Advanced Employment Law from the Business Leaders Academy in Malta.
