About Ricardo Climent

I am the founder of Keep•It•Human, a social entrepreneurship spin-out from my academic research at the University of Manchester, where I also serve as a professor of interactive music and the director of the NOVARS Research Centre. With over 20 years of experience in music composition, computer music, and interactive media, I have a passion for designing immersive experiences with game engines, placing sound and music at the core of the experience. My mission is to use physical and digital creativity to unlock new forms of storytelling and engagement between people and the opportunities to ignite local and global change. Keep•It•Human is a digital game ecosystem for collaborative altruism, that aims to address some of the global challenges we face today. I also explore the relationships between digital technologies and the self, and how to escape the power of rationality, as in Dali's paintings, to experience the human condition and the uncanny.
