About Richa Garg

At my last workplace I was told by a senior member of the team that I voice my opinion with such authority and knowledge that it makes the people present in the room want to listen to me. My hard work, dedication and commitment is evident from the nature and quality of my work which has also been acknowledged by my superiors. Presently, I am working as a Research Intern for the Centre for Trade and Investment Law (CTIL) in New Delhi under the mentorship of the Centre Head Dr. James J. Nedumpara. I have also recently completed my Masters in International Trade and Investment Law from University of Amsterdam, after submitting my Masters thesis on the ‘International legal framework for foreign investments in India’ which was highly influenced by my conversation with the Secretary of the Department of Economics and Commerce, India at The Hague. I have previously worked at Heineken International, Amsterdam in their Digital B2B Team, helping me gain insight into the working environment and ethos of an MNC. My work experience also includes working at a private company as sales trainee and legal advisor. In addition, I also have experience in social work and management. I am very detail oriented, and possess good communication and organisational skills. Presently looking for an opportunity to work in the legal field, sales or international trade.
