Background

About Tarun Guddu

The motivation to become a lawyer was instilled in me by my father who is a Central Government Employee. As I grew up, my fascination towards the profession shaped into utmost respect for the profession than anything and when the time came for me to decide upon the career I wanted, I chose to be a lawyer. I have done my graduation in law from Kuruskshetra university and LLM from Jindal Global Law School and I have fared all through my academic endeavors exceptionally well. As part of my curriculum of the graduate course, I was introduced to the concepts of IPR and Cyber Laws which, however, were not discussed in detail. After the graduation, while I was practicing in different roles and capacities as a lawyer, I came across various instances of Technology laws, Intellectual property Rights and other cyber security related concerns. As I was able to understand the time, efforts and money spent by various companies to get their side come on top, I understood the opportunities that await an enterprising lawyer like me in the Cyber security and IPR scenario. This led me to search for a befitting course that would endow me with the right training and insights in Intellectual Property Rights Technology laws and its implications.
