About Richard Casey

Deciding what career to choose, when you are proficient in every subject in school, was one of the toughest choices a younger me faced. What do you choose when you think that every subject is uniquely fun, but you also enjoy helping people? Now I know you might be thinking teacher, because I did once too, but I actually have found my stride in accounting. I am very analytical, driven to improve, enjoy working with numbers, and enjoy helping people, so accounting just feels right. I have lots of experience with leadership and working in teams, so I know that working with others is something that I enjoy, but I also thrive when I can count on myself to get quality work done. My current position as an RA allows me to grow in areas of teamwork and collaboration, but my current enrollment in accounting courses is giving me the technical skills that are required to be a successful accountant. I feel that accounting is the perfect mix of helping others while still being able to rely on myself and grow. Overall, I am very capable of adapting and I love being presented with new challenges and chances to grow. I honestly think I could be a great addition to any team, due to my ability to mold into any role. I can lead, learn, and grow in any environment that offers me the chance. Give me the chance and I’m sure to become one of the greatest assets you could have asked for.
