About Richard Tocci

A computing professional since 1994, my experience ranges from field support services, consulting, internal IT support, helpdesk, and customer support. As a Professional Services Consultant with F5 Networks since 2011, I work with a wide range of customers to install, configure, and optimize F5's BIG-IP platform for use in local and global traffic management and security. I work extensively with LTM, GTM, ASM, AFM, APM, iRules, and iControl to provide a wide range of solutions to application delivery on the BIG-IP. From 2009 till 2011, worked as Technical Support Analyst for Corptax, Inc. Working primarily with Corptax US Compliance, my work includes installation, troubleshooting, maintenance, documentation, and development escalation of customer problems, and completing analysis through to resolution. Daily duties include updates of beta software, working with ASP on data and performance issues, and research of difficult problems and solutions. From 2008 till 2009, employed as an Application Engineer in the Vertafore Data Center. Part of the core application team with primary experience with Windows and Microsoft SQL Server running hosted versions of AMS 360 and AMS AfW. With also be involved with AMS Prime Online and AMS Sagitta Online, as well as other AMS hosted products. Specialties: F5 BigIP LTM, GTM, ASM, AFM, APM, iRules, and iControl (REST); Microsoft Windows server-based networks, including DHCP, DNS, and TCP/IP concepts and application in an Active Directory, Domain, or Workgroup configuration; Windows workstation configuration; Microsoft SQL Server 2005, and 2008 configuration, maintenance, performance tuning, troubleshooting, and data analysis using TransactSQL.
