About Richard Wiley

Richard is a highly talented and resourceful educational leader with combined experience in teaching, conducting action research, providing administrative support, and contributing to the development of innovative methods in educational management reflecting best practice. He is highly qualified with an Ed.S Degree in Educational Leadership and an M.Ed Degree in Educational Administration coupled with a successful career in preparing and facilitating effective strategic plans to enhance educational performance of various schools across the USA, China and the Middle East. Richard is a subject matter expert with track record of effectively developing strategic operational plans at the school, district and national levels to ensure continuous improvement in the educational arena. He constantly works towards articulating indigenous traditional knowledge into a contemporary theoretical context for students. He is currently serving as a Founding Principal/Head of School at Ajyal American School (Abu Dhabi) where he is actively involved in steering the establishment of a new 3250-student capacity PK-12 American curriculum international school.
