About Rick Kolodinsky

I have over 40 years of experience litigating a wide range of torts across Florida, handling personal injury and death cases related to auto, truck, premises, employment, products liability, and professional malpractice. I have served as lead counsel in many high-stakes cases, drawing on deep experience to navigate complex legal issues.Board Certified as a Civil Trial Lawyer since 1989, I am also proud to be inducted into The American Board of Trial Advocates (ABOTA) and hold an “AV” rating. In addition to my trial work, I have transitioned to serving as a Circuit Civil and Appellate certified mediator and qualified arbitrator, leveraging my extensive legal background to help parties find common ground and reach fair resolutions while avoiding the risks of prolonged litigation.My service to the Bar includes leadership roles such as chairing the 7th Circuit Judicial Nominating Commission, chairing the Florida Bar Grievance Committee for the 7th Circuit, and being a member of the Executive Committee for the Volusia Civil Trial Lawyers Association. I was also a charter member of the Dunn-Blount Inn of Court.I have served on the board of directors for the Florida Justice Association (FJA), a statewide organization of about lawyers committed to protecting the civil justice system. I have received the FJA’s Eagle Talon award twice in recognition of my contributions.
