I’m Rick Lim, Founder & CEO of Vedge New Zealand Limited, launched 15 August 2025. With over 25 years in financial systems and technology, I bring a robust foundation in innovation and integration to lead the AGI world toward sustainability. My career in banking and insurance involved SWIFT, SHIFT (SG), SAP, and ERP systems, and implementing Straight Through Processing (STP) with banking systems such as DB Trader for real-time/online interfaces. I spent years in Asia with Deutsche Bank Global Transactional Services, leading scripless financial instrument conversions led by Richard Ernesti, and collaborated with major institutions (e.g, Governmental, Insurance and Re Insurance, Financials, Investment Bankers, Fund Managers and major private institutions such as Cargill) on transactional governance, compliance, and BCPs. I’ve also overseen in-house system rollouts and worked with insurance broking platforms like IBAIS, JAVLN, and INSIGHT. My passion now lies with Green AI developments, AGI, Integration & Data Flow —API Technologies and Protocols, Authentication and Authorization Methods, Software Architecture Patterns, AI Techniques for LLMs (RAG, MCP, Fine-Tuning, AI Agents, Prompt Eng), Workflow Automation Tools (n8n, Make/Integromat, Pipedream and Latenode etc), and Cloud Computing Service Models and Providers. My vision for Vedge NZ positions it as a pivotal player at the intersection of AGI governance, sustainability, and compliance. We aim to be the "ISO 9001 for AGI"—a global quality standard—and the "intel Inside of Green AI," embedding energy-efficient innovation via VEDGE Bionic Green LLM (70% energy reduction). This dual mission addresses AI’s 2025 energy crisis and appeals to ESG investors, governments, and hyperscalers (e.g, AWS, Google), amid surging regulations (OECD Principles, EU Together we can cultivating a green culture through early governance.
