I am an executive leader of regulatory and compliance programs and teams who manages corporate risk for food and beverage industry corporations. Throughout my career, I built extensive compliance expertise and knowledge key to successful food development, manufacturing, and distribution. As I lead and represent the industry, I leverage diverse key government and industry organization connections while developing solutions to sustain company profitability. KEY EXAMPLES OF SUCCESS Risk Management – Led compliance team to protect Schreiber’s and customer’s interest and value by understanding compliance, identifying risk, and clarifying potential consequences. Drove leadership through crisis management to present a thorough and well thought out solution. Policy Development – Developed, defined, and clarified Schreiber’s corporate animal care policy to create a sustainable program using the most humane animal treatment practices. Implemented the policy throughout the supply chain to protect the brands of major retail and food service customers. Product Innovation – Advised as a key member of the Schreiber development team on compliance issues for the plant-based product platform to ensure safety in product development and manufacturing. Governor’s Dairy Task Force 2.0 – Appointed to study the Wisconsin dairy industry and make recommendations on actions to maintain a viable and profitable dairy industry. Food Safety Program Development – Executed and led International Dairy Foods Association’s joint HACCP pilot operation with cheese manufacturer, Food & Drug Administration (FDA), United States Department of Agriculture (USDA), and state regulatory agency to develop an industry-wide food safety program. Global Compliance Standards – Represented US industry in the development of globally accepted standards to protect U.S. dairy interests as a National Milk Producers Federation spokesperson with foreign governments and industry representatives at multiple national and international meetings, including Codex Alimentarius, the International Dairy Federation (IDF), and the U.S. National Committee of IDF.
