About Rob Overman

My two all-encompassing passions are the artistic leadership of Symphony.live and leading CEO groups at Vistage. Symphony.live is a premier video streaming platform that offers an impressive collection of top-notch performances by the world's finest orchestras. I founded Symphony with the goal of simplifying the process for orchestras to showcase their video content. After leading the platform as CEO in its initial phase, Symphony.live has now entered the scale-up phase and is currently led by two young but highly experienced and knowledgeable co-CEOs. This allows me to focus on collaborating with our partner orchestras and my role as Chair at the Dutch branch of Vistage. At Symphony.live have established partnerships with the best orchestras in the world. Through our platform, orchestras can reach a vast national and global audience, eliminating the need for them to deal with the complexities of streaming technology. Our mission: Uniting the world's greatest orchestras on Symphony.live. What led me to embrace the role of a Vistage Chair was a deep sense of purpose and a desire to contribute to the growth and development of leaders. Becoming a Vistage Chair allowed me to foster a community of like-minded individuals, empowering them to achieve their full potential and navigate the complexities of leadership with wisdom and insight. As leaders, we often face immense pressure to handle everything on our own. That's why I take pride in offering a platform where CEOs and business owners can safely and openly discuss their challenges, fears, questions, and opportunities. Here, they can connect with like-minded peers who truly understand the unique demands of their positions. My journey has been diverse, from being a CEO, media entrepreneur, consultant, to a music producer, and when my TV channels were acquired by the international media company Stingray, I felt the need for a fresh direction. Parallel to setting up symphony.live I discovered the transformative power of the Vistage concept. Currently, I'm in the process of interviewing prospective members to form my first peer group of 12-16 high-performing CEOs in The Netherlands. The goal is to build a diverse lineup of non-competing executives, fostering a collaborative environment to address the challenges that lie ahead.
