About Rob Tracy

I work with the senior leadership teams of entrepreneurial companies to help them achieve their goals. I do this by helping them to build an operating system that is custom-tailored to their unique needs, and I provide specialized consulting to provide insight into their most difficult challenges. I am passionate about working with leadership teams because it has the highest impact on the organization. Small shifts at the senior leadership level can pay enormous dividends. Unlike many consultants, I have years of experience working on organizations from the inside. I have hands-on experience with systems like EOS® and Strategy Deployment (Lean). I know what good looks like, and I know the pain that comes when things aren’t meshing the way they should. I also know how hard it is to lead change. I understand that every company is unique, and the off-the-shelf solutions that exist may not fit your specific needs. That’s why I believe in custom tailoring a solution with you. Working together, we’ll find the right balance of simplicity vs. complexity, rigor vs. flexibility, and bias-for-action vs. thoughtfulness. I work primarily with entrepreneurial, growing companies with 20-200 employees. While my roots are in manufacturing where I have over 20 years of experience in executive roles, my client base is in diverse industries, including marketing, art, construction, and technology, and of course, manufacturing. My services fall into two categories: 1) Implementation of business operating systems. The operating system is the set of practices, principles, and tools that the leadership team uses to run the business. It is the framework within which the leadership team works. An operating system that is implemented properly will dramatically improve the effectiveness of the leadership team, which will have a direct impact on the results of the company. 2) Consulting By their nature, small and mid-size companies may not have all of expertise or bandwidth within the organization to tackle certain challenges. I can provide the needed expertise and capacity.
