With over 15 years of experience as a Police Officer in both the UK Police and Western Australia, I have developed a diverse background in frontline policing, demonstrating my commitment to ensuring public safety and security. In my most recent role as a search and rescue coordinator/boat operator at the Water Police in Fremantle, I have excelled in coordinating and leading missions, leveraging my qualification as a coxswain. As the mission controller for Marine SAR incidents, I have successfully resolved critical incidents while working closely with external stakeholders. This position has been exceptionally rewarding, as it has enabled me to save lives and collaborate effectively with various organisations. Prior to this, I dedicated 5 years specialising as a Close Protection Officer at the Dignitary Protection Unit within the WA Police Force. I provided comprehensive protection to esteemed clients, including high-ranking state and federal officials and internationally protected persons visiting the region. My expertise in planning and leading high-profile security operations has been invaluable, having successfully executed operations involving the British Royal Family and foreign heads of state. Throughout these assignments, I fostered strong collaborative relationships with stakeholders, such as the Australian Federal Police (AFP) and international security officers. Furthermore, I have completed the ANZCTC Close Protection Driving Course and am a qualified instructor for the Introduction to Close Personal Protection. I take pride in my ability to train and assess new recruits, ensuring their readiness to deploy and establish solid fundamentals for our clients' safety.
