About Robert Brookes

My management experience includes working with high-tech companies in various roles such as network design consulting, product marketing, product development, sales management, supply chain, and advanced data analytics. My philosophy is to introduce complexity only where it adds value, and to create a consistent focus on the 'book-ends' of implementing business solutions: proper planning up front to define the actual problem and the disciplined development of post-implementation performance metrics. Luckily I have had the opportunity to work with some great people on very interesting projects that involve the innovative use of data - a few examples include predicting optimal channel inventory stock placements to increase sales, using tools such as association rules and customer lifetime value to help build targeted marketing strategies, and applying text analysis to understand how online user generated content can help inform marketing messaging. The primary tool used in my projects for statistical modeling is the R statistical software language.
