About Robert Carey

As the owner of RPC Associates, Inc, an organizational consulting and training company founded in 1989, I provide Mediation Services & Training, Management & Leadership Skills Development, Life Coaching, Shadow Coaching, and Change & Transition Counseling. My goal is to grow my company in three areas: 1) Family/Divorce Mediation for senior couples transitioning out of long-term marriages;(2) Family/Eldercare Mediation for those facing new issues and decisions on how to best care for themselves and/or family members; and 3) Shadow Coaching for mediators and others working alone who desire feedback on their effectiveness of the interactions with clients. As a consultant, I have worked in both public and private sectors conducting organizational assessments for planning and change initiatives, team building, individual professional skills enhancements, and leadership coaching. Through collaboration with other consultants, I have provided cultural and diversity awareness training throughout the US to federal and state agencies, as well as to private sector companies. Through over 20 years in management within the telecommunications industry, I worked with lines of business within the corporation moving from a government regulated to a non-regulated business. Additionally, I also worked with individuals and groups (represented and non-represented) affected by restructuring through the changes and transitions in their professional and personal lives. I actively volunteer as a speaker to businesses, as well as community and social groups about quality of life issues, including cancer and its effects on patients and family members.
