About Robert Espiritu

EDUCATION Started teaching at De La Salle of College of Saint Benilde in 2005. In his 8 years in education, he has developed into an energetic facilitator, proficient lecturer and entertaining speaker. His proficiency in front of people has been further developed by various consultancy projects. As an administrator in the education industry, he is able to combine traditional educational frameworks and theories with the practical applications found in industry. He is also experienced in leading his department in accreditation and is very familiar with program design as expected of a department chair handling two courses. His constant exposure to the various stakeholders of the college keeps him grounded in the important facets of communication, coaching and mentoring. MARKETING A marketing professor who is also a marketing professional, he has experience in the creation and implementation of marketing plans most recently for Tutuban and Amorita Resort in Bohol through his projects with TwoEco Inc. ENTREPRENEURSHIP At an early age, his entrepreneurial spirit was manifested in handling the family business. He was able to finish his education as a working student while maintaining the excellent operations of his family’s restaurant business. Although he gave up his involvement with the restaurant upon accepting administrator status in CSB, his entrepreneurial spirit and business sense has been an asset to his school, his students and his clients. STRATEGIC MANAGEMENT Derived from his experience in running a business, he successfully marries the proper attitude with the necessary theoretical frameworks in teaching long term planning, strategy and business policy. He is a member of DLS-CSB’s Strategic Management Group and is instrumental in crafting the college’s medium term (2018) and long term (2023) long term plans.
