About Robert Giterman

Robert Giterman received the B.Sc. and M.Sc. degrees in electrical and computer engineering from Ben-Gurion University of the Negev, Be'er Sheva, Israel, in 2013 and 2014, respectively, as part of the Fast Track program for outstanding students. He completed his Ph.D. under Prof. Alex Fish and Dr. Adam Teman in the Emerging Nanoscaled Circuits and Systems Labs in Bar-Ilan University, Ramat-Gan, Israel, in 2018. In November 2018, he joined the Telecomunnications Circuits Laboratory in the Ecole Polytechnique Federale de Lausanne, Switzerland, as a post-doctoral researcher. Mr. Giterman’s research interests include embedded DRAM design and optimization for low power and high performance operation, SRAM design with an emphasis on improved stability, error-correction and fault-tolerant circuits and development of hardware-security oriented embedded memories for use in low-power applications and high-end processors, and hardware optimization of neural network accelerators. He has led and participated in the development of 8 integrated circuits. Mr. Giterman has authored over 30 scientific papers and holds 8 patents. He has co-authored the book Gain-Cell Embedded DRAMs for Low-Power VLSI Systems-on-Chip (Springer). In 2014, he was awarded the presidential scholarship for outstanding Doctorate students. In 2016, he was awarded with the Lev-Zion Scholarship for excellent Ph.D. Students. In 2017 he was awarded with the Katz Scholarship.
