About Robert MacRoberts

Mr. MacRoberts is an architectural engineering technologist with more than 10 years of experience providing services in the architectural and building envelope fields. His expertise includes commercial, recreational, industrial, and residential construction projects. Mr. MacRoberts has successfully led project teams to meet project commitments, and listens carefully to clients to build confidence that project requirements will be met. He has had involvement in complex projects as well as projects where simplicity of design was required. His experience includes project budgets ranging from to $10 million and above. As an architectural design lead, Mr. MacRoberts is responsible for leading project design meetings, multi-discipline coordination, material take-offs and estimating, National Building Code of Canada review, architectural design drafting, design and drafting review, specifications, mentoring junior staff, and using AutoCAD and MS Office. As part of his project administration role, he leads client and construction meetings, handles project change notices and change orders, responds to requests for information, and performs shop drawing review. In addition, Mr. MacRoberts has experience performing site inspections for roofs, building envelopes, and construction, including progress, substantial completion, and final inspections.
