About Robert Murvai

After more than 10 years of software development experience, I've had the opportunity to work as a principal software engineer. I am currently working at Gen, a leading cybersecurity company that protects millions of users from online threats. I am driven by the mission of creating innovative and reliable solutions that enhance the security and performance of the internet. As a member of the Firewall team at Gen, I am responsible for maintaining the Intrusion Detection System, which monitors and blocks malicious network activities. I also implemented the DNS cache manager, which performs reverse lookups on IP addresses and supports various query methods. I developed unit tests for the DNS cache manager using Google Test Framework, and handled the telemetry transmission for the Intrusion Detection System. I use Microsoft Visual Studio C++, Win32 API and multithreading to deliver high-quality code that meets the standards and expectations of the company. I enjoy collaborating with my colleagues and contributing to the continuous improvement of the product.
