Hi, I’m Robert Saunders a former United States Marine with a storied, 20+year career at the State Department developing and supporting communications and information systems for 300+ global sites. For the last eight years, my responsibilities have largely focused on managing people and strategic projects onsite and remotely at domestic and overseas locations. You’ll find that I have a talent for transforming under-performing teams to align daily practices with organizational mission and business objectives in a strict regulatory environment. I have a solid record of planning, directing, and controlling launch and maintenance of network-based solutions for multiple, complex, and interrelated projects. I’m adept at ensuring information security across diverse geographies, business lines, and contractual requirements. More importantly, I have a keen ability to forge fruitful relationships and mutual understanding among professionals with differing motivations, competencies, and communication styles.I’m ready for a new challenge, and I’d like to offer the depth of my skills and experience to the private sector.
