About Robert Thomas

I am an experienced and highly motivated individual, with excellent interpersonal skills resulting in strong working relationships. I have been active in a in a wide range of roles within the telecommunications industry undertaking Building rationalisation, Business Repair, Service Centre, Order Entry, Order Management, Job control and Deemed Consent. In my time with BT and Openreach I have been a team manager running a team of 20 people. A team leader with many years experience over different roles and a valued team member in different roles. I am keen to utilise my existing skills and grow new ones, building on my strengths to organise and drive for results. Outside of work I enjoy playing golf, occasionally playing well! I play guitar in a garage band with a couple of friends where we write and record our own songs, sort of an indie folk rock type of a sound. I like to get out with friends, or on my own, on country walks in and around the South Downs, Sussex, Hampshire, Kent. I've had many a great evening at music gigs, stand up comedians or theatre from Shakespeare to Only Fools and Horses. I also like to escape into a good book.
