About Robert Walter

I grew up being interested in computers and I had a Spectrum 48k at home before progressing to DOS and IBM PC’s in the late 80’s. I started programming around age 11 in Basic before quickly moving on to Pascal. My appetite for progressing my programming skills kept increasing and I was hooked on internet development from getting my first taste of being online in the early 90’s. I started producing HTML websites aged around the age of 14 and jumped at the chance of a summer placement at a Manchester based digital agency start-up, Eunite, at the age of 18. At that time I was amazed at how fast everything in the online space was progressing and I knew it was the industry I wanted to work in. 20 years later I’m still amazed at how quickly everything still progresses. No longer as hands on as I used to be I now use my extensive knowledge as Engineering Director of Sharp Gaming.
