About Roberta Chiarelli

I have a permanent position in Eni e&p since February 2011. My first experience in Eni was in 2008, for the realisation of the Master Degree Thesis in Petroleum Geology, working in Seismic interpretation and Petroleum System Modelling. I joined the company after the MSc in Petroleum Engineering at the Politecnico di Torino, sponsored by Eni in 2009/2010, being employed in the reservoir modelling dept. My activities mostly concerned reservoir studies, characterisation and 3D modelling. I was involved in several R&D projects concerning the implementation, development and application of advanced methodologies for reservoir characterisation and modelling, especially focused on Geostatistics. I am skilled in the use of Multiple-point Geostatistics, as advanced methodology for facies modelling in very complex geological environments, working in the characterisation and modelling of deep and ultra-deep water reservoirs in turbidites (applications to West Africa assets). I also work in seismic data integration within the reservoir modelling workflow, through the use of petrophysical and probabilistic inversion. My activity was also strictly in contact with sedimentology, geophysics, petrophysics. I am skilled in the use of geomodelling softwares (Petrel, RMS, SKUA) since I also furnish support in testing and evaluating new software releases. From October 2013 to May 2014 I had an experience in the Operations, working for Eni Congo, assigned to M'Boundi field on a short term assignment (28/28 rotation shift). It was an internship/training work that gave me the opportunity of experiencing the field. I was involved in following all the activities of the field: drilling & completion, workover, production optimisation, and especially focused on reservoir, petroleum engineering, production monitoring. From May 2014 to July 2015 I worked in San Donato Milanese HQ in an integrated team for the reservoir study and development of a Middle East oil field
