About Roberto Facchinetti

Since I was a kid I have always been attracted by autonomous systems, electricity and robots, as well as having managerial skills. Thanks to my father who took me to the family company, the natural choice was the degree in electrical engineering with specialization in industrial automation. As soon as I started working in my family's company (which I currently manage), I became interested in programming plc, motion control and designing complete systems. At this point the step towards robotics was short and in particular collaborative robots. So I decided to be the co-founder of Alumotion, leading company in the depth knowledge of all the aspects of flexible and collaborative robotic systems. I’m truly passionate about my work and always eager to connect with other people. While I enjoy all aspects of my job, I think my favorite stage of a project is working with the client (and supplier) or business unit leader to understand his or her business objectives. As we go through that collaborative process, the ideas start to flow and that’s always the fun part. My passion is Neuro Linguistic Programming and Mindfulness strategies, that I have being using during my professional career. I love challenges and innovative projects.
