About Robin Hassan

As Unilever Canada’s Director, DMC (Digital Marketing, Media, and Commerce) hub. I oversee the media and data, consumer PR & Influencer, Community nurturing, digital strategy, ecommerce, and in-house content studio centres of excellence. During this time, I have had the privilege to work on several award winning brand building and purpose driven marketing campaigns. My purpose is to "Cultivate Brilliance from Disruption chaos". To deliver against this, I have a deep passion for learning as well as coaching talent and busines partners to lean into data and technology to create user experience centered solutions that provide meaningful impact for consumers and society. Prior to joining Unilever in 2014, I had the opportunity to build my expertise as a digital transformation leader while launching several first to market and award winning solutions in the multi-media publishing and broadcasting businesses (Hollinger International, CanWest, Alliance Atlantis, and Yahoo!). From there, I had the opportunity to experience working agency side where I led Digital and Social Strategic Practices as SVP at Starcom and Mediacom. During my tenure, I had the opportunity to establish agency capabilities and lead strategic planning work across a wide spectrum of verticals including CPG, Consumer Electronics, Finance, Auto, and Pharma. I am passionate about giving back through volunteering time to work with social enterprises and technology start ups.
