I have spent my career deeply immersed in change and relish the opportunity to help others thrive during change events of their own. I served on the board of Simpson Manufacturing, the leading manufacturer of structural connectors in the US and Europe. It was very rewarding to guide the firm’s profitable advancement into new geographies, product lines, markets, relationships and technologies amid unprecedented industry turbulence. At AT & T, I headed our Post Merger Integration team, leading 100s of initiatives designed to integrate merged entities for optimal customer service, cultural alignment and financial performance. Additionally, I led our Regional and Local Markets team, caring for our dynamic, nation-wide small business market, and was President of our Business Communications organization, responsible for small, medium, and large businesses across our western region, achieving P&L success by ably addressing hyper-evolving product, technology and service needs. Through my AT & T leadership experiences, and the revenue, productivity and customer satisfaction results that accompanied them, I garnered a reputation as an adept manager of complexity in highly competitive and rapidly changing environments. I also served on the faculty of AT & T University, our leadership and executive development arm. My areas of focus were communications, change management and influence. Currently affiliated with LHH, the world’s leading talent development and transition company, I advise senior level and C-suite clients in the areas of leadership development and transition, organizational change, executive communications/presence, and mergers/acquisitions. I have advised and coached clients in over 300 organizations, from regional non-profits to global Fortune 100 companies, assisting them advance their professional goals, brands and legacies. For nearly two decades, I served on the board of merger-formed Girl Scouts of Northern California, including as President of the inaugural board and chair of the 100th anniversary capital campaign.
