About Robyn Roux
Robyn Roux is a freelance writer based between Vanderbijlpark and Durban. She studied freelance journalism through London School of Journalism and spent a year and a half at The Animation School where she fell in love with the animation industry. She decided to combine that with her love of stories through scriptwriting. She has a degree in creative writing and has done a number of screenwriting courses through The Storyteller Pod with a mentorship by Natasje van Niekerk. Robyn has a couple of works published in Wistfulness of Time, an anthology of short stories and poetry. Spirit Doll is her first award winning short film and she is currently writing for a children’s animated tv show. She is also in the process of writing her first novel as well as developing an anthology of animated shorts and a couple of feature films as personal projects.
