I am an experienced Electrical Engineer with 8+ years in the RMG sector, specializing in electrical safety audits, system design, compliance, and maintenance. Currently, as an Electrical Safety Engineer at the RMG Sustainability Council (RSC), I conduct inspections and risk assessments in alignment with international safety standards such as NFPA, BNBC, IEC, and ANSI. My expertise spans analyzing electrical design drawings, ensuring regulatory compliance, and collaborating with stakeholders to enhance electrical safety and reliability in RMG facilities. Previously, as Manager (Technical) at Safety Source Ltd, I led factory inspections, and system design (SLD, ELD, LPS), and conducted testing and commissioning to meet global safety standards, including Accord, Alliance, and NFPA. At DIFE (Department of Inspection for Factories and Establishments), I inspected over 750 RMG factories, reviewed electrical designs, and ensured compliance with safety regulations, including the Electricity Act. I also worked at Nestlé Bangladesh Ltd, focusing on the LPS project and overseeing various maintenance-related works. My role involved ensuring electrical safety compliance and managing maintenance activities, all while adhering to corporate and international safety guidelines. Earlier in my career at Leads Corporation Ltd, I worked as a System Engineer, troubleshooting and servicing ATM machines, ensuring operational efficiency and system reliability. With in-depth knowledge of NFPA 70, 70B, 70E, 780, IEC 60364, ANSI, NETA, BS 7671, and 142, I am committed to driving safer, more efficient electrical infrastructure in the RMG sector.
