Roman Pertl studierte Schauspiel an der Folkwang Universität der Künste in Essen und in Bochum. Und Kultur- und Medienmanagement am Institut KMM der HfMT Hamburg. 2014 leitete er das Festival für studentische Arbeiten "+/- 960 Minuten". Erstengagements als Schauspieler führten ihn ans Hessische Landestheater Marburg ans Staatstheater Augsburg und 2020 ans ITZ im Tübinger Zimmertheater. Dort wechselte er 2023 in die Position Leitung Kommunikation und stv. Intendanz und verantwortet ab Februar 2024 die kaufmännische Leitung des Theaters.
