About Ron Seals

A resident of Kent County, Delaware, I currently serve as an IT system administrator for county government in neighboring Queen Anne’s County, Maryland. A native of Westerville, Ohio, I served twenty-four years in the United States Air Force—initially in aircraft maintenance, then later as an air traffic controller, culminating that career as a control tower facility manager at nearby Dover Air Force Base. At present, I wish to pursue my goal of completing a doctorate (I'm always on the lookout for a kind benefactor to help with funding) in education. Upon leaving county government, I wish to teach at one of the colleges or universities in the Delaware area. Ever mindful of its long-term impact in the U.S. and on the world stage, and the methods by which it is practiced in the American classroom, the science of education has and remains of personal concern. To spark the desire, the interest, and realize its benefits and rewards, the process known as education must always be a fun and exciting experience and hence, ultimately provide reason for continuing interest and pursuit by students—no matter their age or cultural influence. This bottom line and goal must be realized by every adult tasked by chance or choice to raise a child. Not only must this hold true for the every adult charged with that responsibility, but also by the community known as educators who teach and provide guidance not only to that child, but also to young adults, the middle-aged and the growing senior population of varying social and cultural ideologies and spheres of influence. Hopefully, through this medium, I can provide a valued service to society as I serve out the last productive years of my life.
