About Rosie Moan

I grew up in Charlotte, NC and moved to Boston to attend Emerson College for Acting. From the time I was in high school, I knew Chicago was where I wanted to be. Right after graduation I packed up and came to the windy city wide eyed and unemployed. I was lucky enough to land a job at Groupon as a Customer Service Representative. I grew immensely at Groupon, moving from Customer Service over to the Recruiting team after about a year and a half. The following 5 years as a Recruiter were an incredible experience. I owned the Groupon Goods division and hired nearly 75% of the current team both at our Chicago headquarters, and at our Fulfillment Center in KY. I hired an average of 200 people/year anywhere from entry level to Senior Director. As much as I loved where I worked and the team, I never stopped improvising, acting, and teaching and decided to make the difficult decision to leave my family at Groupon and go off on my own.As a freelance coach, I have been able to meld my corporate recruiting experience with my love of improv and performing. I have lead hundreds of workshops with ImproveIt! LLC, the Annoyance Theater, and independently. Some of the companies I've had the privilege of working with are PepsiCo, McDonalds, Quaker Oats, Disney, Hasbro, Rush University, and University of Illinois, Motorola Solutions, BP, Accenture, the American Marketing Association, Red Ventures, Camelot Illinois, NHL Global, Chicago Tribune and many more. I am excited to continue to broaden my network and see what the future holds. Cheers!
