Ross Macdougald is on a mission to prove through science that plant phytonutrients not only achieve results as active ingredients in consumer products but are more effective than manufactured chemicals.In 2008, through his company FPI Oceania (now Phytoverse), Ross began the development of the cold liquid extraction closed system (CLECS™).There are now three patent-pending applications that can be attributed to the revolutionary extraction system that mimics the plant's internal closed processes. For the first time in the world, fully active, completely stable plant nutrients are now extracted in their purest form for use in skincare, haircare, food and beverages, pharmaceuticals, nutraceuticals and household products.In 2014, Ross launched Native Extracts as the sales entity for these extracts with himself as the creator and founding director.In 2017, Ross founded Biologi. Biologi products treat the skin on a cellular level rather than relying on synthetic ingredients for results. Ross continues to oversee Ross launched his most recent company in 2020. ViroCLEAR is a world-leading advance in anti-microbial protection. The range currently consists of an alcohol and ethanol free surface spray and hand sanitiser that contain the active ingredient at much lower levels required to be effective.Ross continues to rely on the power of nature to develop a growing range of consumer products that are kinder to the skin while achieving more effective results.
