Background

About Rowen Paton

I started my career working for Lomond & Argyll Primary Care Trust replacing their existing Pharmacy Stock Control system and supporting nursing staff in the electronic ordering of stock. This led to a period with JAC as an Implementation Analyst focusing on supporting customers through software updates and provided my first experience with Hospital electronic Prescribing and Medicines Administration (HePMA). In 2005 I returned to NHS Scotland as a Pharmacy Facilitator in Greater Glasgow & Clyde supporting Community Pharmacies to utilise I.T. effectively. Following this I moved to NHS Forth Valley as a Project Manager with a central role in their recent HePMA implementation and have now been promoted to Programme Manager leading on the boards move to TrakCare (Patient Management System) replacement project. Since the successful implementation of TrakCare I have now been given a senior IT. management role with responsibility for delivery of eHealth and Digital Projects/Programmes across the board.
