About Roy Andrew

Roy Andrew is a Managing Director in the Expert Services practice of Kroll, based in London. He is a Chartered Quantity Surveyor with over 30 years of experience in the construction and engineering industry. He specialises in the provision of expert evidence in the fields of quantum and quantity surveying in relation to construction and engineering disputes. He also currently serves on the board of the Scottish Arbitration Centre. Prior to becoming a consultant, Mr Andrew worked in senior positions with major national UK-based building and civil engineering contractors where he gained extensive contractual and commercial management experience. Since 2008 he has worked exclusively for major consultancies operating in the dispute resolution field. He has acted for Employers, Contractors and Sub-contractors to produce and defend claims in engineering and construction projects. He has been instructed as an independent expert on over 70 occasions. His experience encompasses the forums of arbitration, litigation, adjudication, dispute adjudication boards and mediation. He has testified in court, arbitration, adjudication, dispute adjudication board hearings and mediations. His appointments include experience on major high-profile disputes both domestically and internationally. He has been involved with projects in the UK, Ireland, Panama, Trinidad and Tobago, Republic of South Africa, Algeria, Norway, Russia, UAE, Qatar, Mongolia, Slovakia, Greece, and Estonia. Recent experience includes energy from waste, power, dredging, major infrastructure, oil and gas, roads, marine, ports & harbours, commercial & residential buildings and utilities.
