About Roy Hunter

My early 'career', such as it was, involved a series of stop-gap jobs that supported my musical ambitions (now long-since abandoned). It gave me a random set of skills: I can change a cylinder head gasket, make a decent béchamel sauce, communicate using the deaf-blind manual alphabet, and balance a dual-entry accounts ledger. I have organised a rock concert in George Square, filmed whilst hanging out of the side of a helicopter hovering over Glasgow, and I spent the turn of the Millennium setting off a multi-thousand pound fireworks display across the city centre. Despite all this, I seem to have gravitated towards levelling up the inequalities in society, supporting people with disabilities and long-term conditions, helping vulnerable people to have their rights upheld, and to secure the resources and support they need to live a decent life with dignity and choice.(If you are recruiting for a wealth management company - keep scrolling.
