About Rupak Deore

Rupak Deore, MSc, MCom, CA-Intermediate, is a space enthusiast currently working as a Senior Research Manager, Europe at Geospatial World, a multinational knowledge organization. He specializes in providing research-based trusted insights & actionable recommendations, communicating with high-level government officials, experts, and business executives, building and maintaining relationships with external stakeholders, managing and leading multi-cultural teams based in different geographies, and organizing online events & webinars. Mr. Deore, by combining his professional work at Geospatial World with his passion for space and new technologies, has explored global space and geospatial commerce with a focus on Europe and the APAC regions, and researched the criticality of PNT (Positioning, Navigation, and Timing). He has also investigated the Indian new space economy, India's space policy, the global space ecosystem, and the use of space and geospatial technology for climate change. Additionally, he has participated in multiple space and geospatial conferences and business summits, both presenting and moderating sessions. His passion for space technology and strong interest in international relations & diplomacy have inspired him to examine the space diplomacy of India and China in Brazil, space technology as a tool for soft diplomacy, the role of space technology in the Global South, and space tech for development. Mr. Deore has a unique interdisciplinary education background and brings his graduation work in international relations & diplomacy (IRD) and accounting & finance. He has always been appreciated by his managers, mentors, and colleagues for his unique interdisciplinary way of performing tasks efficiently. As a former student leader, Mr. Deore represented Indian and international students at various high-level events involving ministers, diplomats, and business executives. He has a successful track record of effectively communicating student issues to the Dutch Education Minister, the Ambassador of India, and university officials.
