About Rupesh Parate

With a strong background in mathematics and clinical research, I am a Senior Statistical Programmer at ICON Strategic Solutions, a leading contract research organization (CRO) that provides clinical development services to biotechnology and pharmaceutical companies. In this role, I am responsible for creating end-to-end CDISC deliverables, including SDTM and ADaM datasets, and Tables, Listings, and Figures (TLFs) for various clinical trials. I use SAS to transform raw data into standardized and analysis-ready datasets, following the CDISC guidelines and industry best practices. I have successfully delivered CDISC solutions for multiple studies in different therapeutic areas, such as oncology, cardiology, and neurology. Also expertise in handling TLFs for safety, efficacy, and pharmacokinetic analyses. I am also proficient in communicating complex statistical concepts and results to diverse audiences, such as clinical researchers, project managers, and regulatory authorities. I collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the quality and accuracy of the data and the reports, and to support the decision-making processes, regulatory submissions, and publications. As a proactive learner, I constantly update my knowledge and skills in CDISC standards, SAS programming, and clinical trial design and analysis. I hold a SAS Certified Specialist: Base Programming Using SAS 9.4 credential, which demonstrates my competency and proficiency in SAS. I also have a Master of Science degree in Mathematics from Nagpur University Campus, where I gained a solid foundation in mathematical concepts and methods. My goal is to leverage my expertise in CDISC and SAS to deliver high-quality and reliable clinical data solutions that advance the development of innovative and life-saving treatments. I am passionate about applying my mathematical and analytical skills to solve real-world problems and contribute to the advancement of science and medicine.
