About Russ Nidy

With over 20 years of experience in managing money for corporations and nonprofits, I have a passion for finding ways to improve the bottom line. The art and science of Finance is a balancing act. It takes experience and talent to maintain a powerful performance. As a Financial Officer, my skills and abilities cover the financial policies and practices found in manufacturing and construction. The most common include: Budgets, Forecasts, Reports, Decision Tools, Account Reconciliation, General Ledger, Server and Cloud-based Accounting, all while following the Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP). In addition to running a tight financial ship, it is equally important to have a firm grasp of the operations, the moving parts of the organization. I articulate the requirements for documentation and training that motivates team members to follow the policies and procedures related to Finance. With a firm and fair hand, I’ve managed to gain the trust and cooperation of team members from the C-Suite to the field. You will find me a tech-savvy professional who “gets it” and gathers the best talent to accomplish the organization’s wildly important goals.
