About Ruth Drewitt

As the Associate Dean - School of IT, Liberal Arts and Flexible Education, I have over 20 years of experience in the education sector, with a focus on online teaching, curriculum assessment, and diversity and inclusion. I oversee the academic standards, policies, and practices of international programs and services, ensuring compliance, quality, and innovation across the college. My portfolio includes working with subject matter experts to design and develop exciting new programs for Lambton College International students. Program highlights are Agribusiness, Project Management- Environmental and E-Learning Design and Training Development. I am also a part-time faculty of the E-Learning Design and Training Development program at Lambton International, where I work with a team of instructional designers and trainers in creating and delivering online courses and programs for various learners and stakeholders. I am currently pursuing a Master of Education degree in Educational/Instructional Technology from Memorial University of Newfoundland, and I have multiple certifications in remote workshop facilitation, public speaking, and online teaching. I am passionate about enhancing the learning experience and outcomes of students and faculty, and fostering a culture of excellence, innovation, and inclusion in the international education sector. I bring diverse perspectives and experiences to the team, and I am always eager to learn from others and share best practices.
